Donations come in three sizes.

Did you know…

  1. Your dollar changes lives. New Heights CCDA remains committed to stewarding over our budgets to keep costs down and ensure your dollar goes as far as it possibly can. Your financial support is both needed and greatly appreciated. Thousands in our community can grow with a “hand-up” vs a hand out.
Thanks to your support, we are changing the trajectory of positive charity and enabling people to embrace community development through empowerment and engagement. Please consider a financial donation.

  2. Your old car may accelerate a person’s future. It doesn’t matter what shape your old vehicle is in, New Heights can take what you don’t want anymore and transform it into something new. Please consider donating your old vehicles. Your contribution is tax deductible.

  3. When you service your vehicle at New Heights Auto Services, you are actually supporting the ministry of New Heights to change a life. Or two. Or most likely, a family. We offer fair, honesty estimates, and our technicians are state certified.

FAQs

  • Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes! New Heights is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and will provide you a giving statement for your end-of-year taxes.

If you donate a vehicle to New Heights Auto, the auto staff will follow up within 30 days with the value of your vehicle’s charitable giving credits. Credits are contingent upon whether the vehicle is viable to provide to an individual in need, which then will ultimately determine how much you can deduct on your taxes.

  • Does New Heights Auto service the general public?

Yes, please allow us to service your vehicle. Our honest, state-certified mechanics take pride in their work, and service the public. New Heights Auto is a social enterprise, which sustainably supports the ministry of Auto Services.

  • How is your organization structured?

New Heights CCDA is led by Executive Director Chris Britton, and operates under an independent Board of Directors. Our organization is also accountable to the First Church of God Advisory Council.

  • Can I donate a car that doesn't run?

Yes please! We welcome all makes and models of cars and trucks (even if they don't run.) Not all vehicles are viable as transportation for our guests. Some are salvaged for parts or sold at auction to enable the ministry to provide reliable transportation and to purchase parts to do car repairs for folks who aren't able to afford repairs themselves.

  • What happens to my vehicle once I donate it?

Every vehicle donated is immediately inspected by the New Heights team of mechanics. Going through a multi-point checklist, taking into account the age, mileage, and condition, the team decides if the vehicle will be roadworthy for at least two years once necessary repairs are made.

If the car passes the roadworthiness checklist, the needed repairs are made and the vehicle is provided to someone in need for pennies on the dollar.

If that’s not feasible, the vehicle is sold and the proceeds are used to support the ministry (repairs on other vehicles, etc.). All donated vehicles help provide reliable transportation to someone who needs it, in one way or another.

  • How can I donate?
