John Golob, New Heights Service Manager, Named to Moody on the Market 40 Under 40

New Heights CCDA is pleased to share that John Golob, Service Manager at New Heights Auto Services, has been named to the 40 Under 40 list by Moody on the Market.

The annual 40 Under 40 recognition highlights emerging leaders across Southwest Michigan who are making a meaningful impact through their professional work, leadership, and community involvement.

Golob joined New Heights Auto in 2022 as a technician after graduating from the automotive program at Southwestern Michigan College. Through his strong technical ability, work ethic, and commitment to the mission of New Heights, he quickly grew into a leadership role within the organization and now serves as Service Manager, overseeing the daily operations of New Heights Auto Services.

In this role, Golob works closely with technicians and customers to keep the shop running smoothly while ensuring that both the retail automotive repair work and the charitable work of New Heights Auto Ministry are carried out with care and integrity.

New Heights Auto Services operates as a social enterprise, meaning that profits from retail automotive repair help support the work of New Heights Auto Ministry. Through this model, the shop is able to provide reliable transportation solutions to individuals working to gain or maintain employment.

Golob’s recognition reflects the dedication he brings to this work every day.

“John cares deeply about the mission of New Heights and the people we serve,” said Executive Director Chris Britton. “He’s someone who works hard, continues to grow in his role, and wants to use his skills to help others. This recognition is well deserved.”

In addition to his work at New Heights, Golob is active in the local arts community through Twin City Players, where he contributes to productions through set design, sound, lighting, and performance.

New Heights is grateful for leaders like Golob who help carry forward the mission of serving neighbors and strengthening families throughout southwest Michigan.
