New Heights Auto Ministry Provides Vehicle to Irber, Transforming his Family’s Future

Irber receives a car from New Heights Auto Ministry

Irber, a hardworking father and husband, is finally breathing a sigh of relief after receiving a life-changing gift from New Heights Auto Ministry: a donated car. For years, Irber and his family struggled without reliable transportation, and this vehicle marks a turning point in their journey toward stability.

Without reliable transportation, Irber faced a series of challenges that impacted every aspect of his family’s life. His wife was frequently late to her job, jeopardizing her employment, and Irber often had to cancel his son's medical appointments. “Missing those appointments was tough," Irber shared. "But with no car, getting around was impossible.”

For Irber, who works in landscaping, the lack of transportation had a direct impact on his income. Unable to get to job sites consistently, he missed out on numerous employment opportunities. Though he currently works 21 hours a week, his employer has promised to increase his hours to a full 40-hour week as soon as he has reliable transportation. "With this car, I can finally work full-time," Irber said. "It’ll change everything for us."

This increase in hours will enable Irber to boost his household income, making it possible for him to catch up on rent and alleviate the financial stress that has weighed on his family. But the impact of this vehicle extends far beyond financial relief. "Now that I can work more, I’ll also be able to help my dad pay for his insulin," Irber added. His father's health has been another source of worry, but with the additional income, Irber can step in to support him. The donated car will also benefit others in his community. Irber plans to help two individuals by providing them rides to and from their jobs.

For far too long, transportation challenges limited his availability and his family’s opportunities. Even something as essential as picking up food became a struggle. The constant stress of navigating these challenges added to the financial strain, leaving the family feeling stuck.

That changed the day New Heights Auto Ministry stepped in. Through its ongoing mission to provide reliable vehicles to those employed and in need, Irber has more than just a car—he and his family now have a chance for a better future.

"This car is a blessing. To the person who donated this car, thank you,” Irber said with heartfelt gratitude.

With reliable transportation, Irber is starting a new chapter—one filled with opportunity, security, and the ability to give back. New Heights Auto Ministry’s commitment to providing reliable transportation will make a lasting difference, not just for Irber’s family, but for the broader community he will now be able to support as well.
