Rotary Club of St. Joseph-Benton Harbor Supports Community Food Network with Donations
The Rotary Club of St. Joseph-Benton Harbor recently demonstrated its commitment to the community by visiting the New Heights Community Food Network (CFN) and providing vital support. In a remarkable show of community spirit, the Rotary Club not only delivered food collected during their annual Rotary Track Meet but also provided a financial donation to further the mission of the CFN.
The collaboration between the Rotary Club and New Heights CFN underscores the importance of collective action in tackling food insecurity.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club of St. Joseph-Benton Harbor for their generosity and support,” said Kathy Craig, Community Food Network Director. “Their donation of both food and funds will have a direct impact on the lives of families in our community. Together, we are working to ensure that no one has to worry about where their next meal will come from.”
The Rotary Club’s support comes at a crucial time, as the New Heights CFN continues its efforts to fight food scarcity while promoting healthy living. By contributing to the network’s mission, the Rotary Club is helping to build a stronger, healthier community where everyone can thrive.
As the Community Food Network continues to grow and serve the community, it is partnerships like this one that help sustain its mission. The Rotary Club’s contributions not only help feed local families but also inspire others to get involved in the fight against hunger.
